- Examine in detail the specific code requirements under each pillar, ensuring participants grasp the standards related to labor, health and safety, environmental assessment, and business ethics.
- Enable participants to apply their knowledge by analyzing measurement criteria and evidence through practical case studies, enhancing their ability to implement and assess compliance effectively.
Learning Outcome:
On completion of this course, each delegate will be able to have awareness on:
- Identify and interpret Code Requirements: interpret the code requirements for each pillar, including labor standards, health and safety protocols, environmental assessments, and business ethics principles.
- To understand the types of evidence examined and the audit questions pertinent to each code requirement.
- Implement best practices to align organizational policies and procedures with SMETA requirements and effectively evaluate internal processes and suppliers to ensure compliance with ethical standards.
