It can do the same with their suppliers who are leaders in their industries to ensure the well-being of their employees and environmental sustainability.
Objectives:
- To outline the Supplier Code of Conduct of the company’s expectations in regard to sustainability practices of its suppliers in protecting the people, the environment and business by proactively identifying and managing risk.
- To outline the Supplier Code of Conduct of the company’s standards to ensure that working conditions in the supply chain are safe, that workers are treated with respect and dignity and that design and manufacturing processes are environmentally and ethically responsible.
- As awareness for delegates of the Malaysian environmental and occupational safety and health laws and how this relates to them to comply with.
Learning Outcome:
Upon completion of the training, delegates will have the ability to:
- Promote sustainable development and minimizing legal, financial and reputation risks by adopting the Supplier Code of Conduct with all reasonable measures to ensure this code across their entire business and within their own supply chains.
- Familiarize themselves with the environmental related legislations.
- Familiarize themselves with the occupational safety and health related legislations.
- Identify the applicable legal requirements for the company’s operations to ensure its compliance
